Living, Loving & Letting Go
“In the end these things matter most:
How Well did you Love?
How Fully did you Live?
How Deeply did you Let Go?”
If I am able, in some small way, to contribute to other people, Loving well, Living fully and Letting Go deeply then I will have been of service and lived my purpose.
What’s the old saying… “Youth is wasted on the young”.
I don’t know about you, but I feel like I wasted so much of my 20’s and 30’s worrying about what people thought of me and being paralysed by fear. I over-analysed my life and was often totally oblivious to the opportunities that were before me.
I was an observer rather than a liver of life.
Moving into my 40’s was a real awakening … and as I travel through the decade I’m discovering a level of comfort and ease in the way I live and love with long held desires being voiced and explored.
Something has clicked into place to remind me that I don’t have unlimited time. I’m finally listening and getting on with living a life that lights me up – rather than one that just pays the bills.
Are you ready to finally listen to your inner wisdom and step forward in Life?
Midlife is when the universe gently places her hands upon your shoulders, pulls you close, and whispers in your ear: I’m not screwing around. All of this pretending and performing – these coping mechanisms that you’ve developed to protect yourself from feeling inadequate and getting hurt – has to go. Your armor is preventing you from growing into your gifts. I understand that you needed these protections when you were small.
I understand that you believed your armor could help you secure all of the things you needed to feel worthy and lovable, but you’re still searching and you’re more lost than ever. Time is growing short. There are unexplored adventures ahead of you. You can’t live the rest of your life worried about what other people think. You were born worthy of love and belonging. Courage and daring are coursing through your veins. You were made to live and love with your whole heart. It’s time to show up and be seen.
